Call me Remy.

Occupation: Environmental Consultant | Environmental Ombudsman | Husband and Father

Occupational Background: Lean Production Manager, Shop Supervisor, Arborist Assistant, Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities

Educational Background: Bachelors in Environmental Studies, University of Arizona. Associates of Applied Science, Seminole State College.

Governmental Experience: Currently serving on Clackamas County Community Action Board (CAB). Currently serving on Community Climate Action Committee (CCAC)

My work in the community has focused on listening and participation. I currently serve on the Clackamas County Community Action Board (CAB), where we address issues such as food access, housing stability, and support for families facing economic hardship. I also serve on the Community Climate Action Committee (CCAC), which helps the county think ahead about resilience, infrastructure, and long-term sustainability. These roles have given me a firsthand view of both the challenges our communities face and the dedication of the people working to solve them. I’ve spent years attending public meetings, reviewing county reports, and helping neighbors understand how local decisions affect their daily lives.

My priorities are straightforward: strengthen partnerships between local agriculture and food recovery programs, support responsible housing expansion, improve transparency in county budgeting and major contracts, and expand opportunities for residents to participate in county decision-making.

Public service should be about responsibility and trust. That’s why I’ve pledged to take a lower salary if elected and donate the remainder to community nonprofits that support families with food, school supplies, and basic needs.

Clackamas County works best when neighbors work together.
